This year for the President’s Challenge, I’m asking everyone to make one or more 9” (finished) Ribbon Star blocks to put into a charity quilt from the group. Please bring your finished block(s) to the April meeting where we will lay them out together. I’ll assemble and finish the quilt before bringing it to the meeting and passing it along to Polly for the community quilts. The instructions can be downloaded HERE.
As an added incentive, for each block turned in your name goes into a drawing for a FQ bundle.
This will be a scrappy quilt as we’ll all work from our stashes using medium to dark fabric and neutral fabrics. Please keep your neutrals no darker than the envelopes shown below. This is my box of neutral fabrics. I would use anything in the middle or right column of fabrics. The fabrics in the first column are too dark or the print doesn’t let the background color show through.
