This year for the President’s Challenge, I’m asking everyone to make one or more 8” (finished) Double Four-Patch blocks to put into charity quilt(s) from the group. Please bring your finished block(s) to the meeting when you finish them. The last day to turn in blocks is April 7th. Please sign the registration sheet for each block you turn in. The pattern can be found HERE.
As an incentive, for each block turned in, your name goes into a drawing for a FQ bundle. If we reach 100 blocks a second name will be drawn and for each additional 35 blocks another name will be drawn. 35 blocks will make a quilt without borders measuring 40″ x 56″.
After the quilts are finished, we’ll pass them along to Polly for the Community Quilts.
This will be a scrappy quilt as we’ll all work from our stashes using medium to dark fabric and neutral fabrics. Please keep your neutrals on the lighter side. I’ll be pulling from my neutral box:
